Zachary roemer40 days agoThis is actually now a Sinclair with Top Tier Fuel. Check it out if you care what you put in your tank. Prices are a little high for national averages, but cheaper than some CUT RATE fuels. It's ironic how many years ago, generic gas stations used to be cheaper because the lack of Top Tier additives to keep your engine clean...not any more, now you pay the same for less. This Sinclair now has the pump activating discount app working👍

Michelle is why this is the only place we get gas when we're in Payson. She's absolutely phenomenal and when she's working we also get ice and sometimes we'll get some chicken and French fries.

Richard Genck252 days agoToday was our 2nd time having Payson Market Place/Black Jax chicken strips, biscuits & jojos & boy howdy are the delicious. Yes, this is a gas station/mini market, your typical one stop shop with friendly staff that go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. The store is clean with an excellent selection of snacks, drinks, deli food, ice cream & more. But honestly it's the fried chicken that truly makes coming here worth the effort.

Tony Cone379 days agoIt is a hood place to do laundry. Just bring in only $1 dollar bills since the change machine doesn't know how to count to 5 or above. I placed a $5 bill and it gave me $4.25 in change. I tried calling the business to let them know but no answer. Unfortunately it was not the first time it happened, I didn't have any more change on me so I was able to notice it this time. I thought I was crazy before. Otherwise it's good.

chella zepeda680 days agoThis is a convenient place to stop at to get your drinks and snacks on the way back to Phoenix from Pine/Payson. The marketplace is located in the 76 gas station and there's accessible parking and ramps. Inside, the interior is kind of small - however there's a decent selection of snacks to fill your cravings, especially plenty of candies and chips. However, most of the cold deli items seemed to be out of stock. They also have a fried chicken spot inside. Checkout wasn't bad, not a long line- definitely less busier here than other gas station convenience stores (at least when I went).
A Z684 days agoIt's a convenient pit stop on your way back from Pine, AZ driving back to Phoenix- get your gas filled. It's normally not as busy as the Circle K's, but it can be hit or miss especially on the weekends around later afternoon when people are heading back. I will note though this gas station is a bit smaller and I recall seeing only 3 stalls of pumps- which can make it harder to get it in an out when it's busy. This gas station also has a store/fast food stop (that serves chicken). There is accessible parking and ramps to the store entrance. Gas prices are reasonable here too.A Z684 days agoBetter than Canes in the Valley. Get the original sauce. It’s like Canes and Popeyes made a baby in your mouth.

He was very friendly as he showed me around & patiently explained how the machines worked. Greg obviously takes great pride in his job and it shows in the cleanliness/orderliness of the laundromat.

While I was there one of the employees came up to me and began telling me about his new puppy and showing off pictures on his phone. Just like he'd known me all his life. This is one reason I love it here. The rest of the store looked great. All the employees were friendly and treated me like family.

The machines can operate via the LaundryPay app, so I don't need quarters. And they are highly efficient. The app will notify you when your loads are almost done.

Kathleen Glick1147 days agoUPDATE AFTER renovations I am very happy to say that this place has improved dramatically, All machines work now, many new machines, new food options offered next door (No EBT) Rude staff member let go, newer Staff is so much more friendly, the place is so much better kept and cleaner now, I must say We are happy to be going here again as it is more convenient most days. Very happy to change my review and happy to do my laundry here. New staff won't be touching my clothing unless left overnight (that's more than reasonable!) Half the machines are broken. The ones that work, don't work good. Attendant pulled out our family's clothing, including my wife and little girls clothes. Instead of apologizing he had an attitude with me, been going here a month and never had that happen before must be a new guy. NEVER in my life have I ever had an attendant, AT ANY LAUNDORMAT ever touch my clothes before. I especially don't appreciate him touching my wife's delicates. I've left clothes overnight at other laundromats and they've not been touched. Not only did he decide to handle my laundry, he also mixed it with someone else's. Will never be coming here again. I left for a little over an hour. Dryer cycle was 40 minutes. Ridiculous. Snowflake has several much better laundromats. The worst one in Snowflake is far better than this one.

Katherine Cook1190 days agoNeeded to wash a bunch of towels for work. Decided to try this place out. I'm glad I did! The machines are all like new and look to be high end. The prices are reasonable, and the facility is, for the most part, pretty clean. The reason for the four stars is that the change machine was broken and it could've used a light cleaning. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this laundry mat. The convenience store is attached so you can grab a cold drink and snack while you wait.

Although it's conveniently located if you're going south on your way out of town, it's not the cleanest of pump areas I've been in. Still there is a decent convenience store attached and the price for gas isn't excessive.

The maintenance guy runs a very tight ship and you can get you some Cajun jambalaya, red beans 🫘 & rice 🍚, boudin bites and some tasty chicken to go! But the gas prices are the highest in town that I’ve seen since November 2022, so I don’t buy gas there in these very financially inflationary expensive times…

Management nailed it on the December renovation... you can tell they put in maximum effort with locals in mind. The result is the ultimate quick-stop wine and beer selection in the area! A J Hall1339 days agoNew machines and totally empty on a Tuesday morning. $2.50 for small washer, $4.25 for medium, $5.25 for large and they had two gigantic washers for $6.25 if you have an xl comforter or something. Dryers: old ones give you a flat 30 mins for .75 and work fine. New ones give you 5 mins for .25, you decide how long based on number of quarters you put in. Restrooms available and clean. There is a decent amount of seating and folding areas. They also have a stocked change machine and a pay-by-app option.

Check it out if you care what you put in your tank. Prices are a little high for national averages, but cheaper than some CUT RATE fuels. It's ironic how many years ago, generic gas stations used to be cheaper because the lack of Top Tier additives to keep your engine clean...not any more, now you pay the same for less. The marketplace is located in the 76 gas station and there's accessible parking and ramps. Inside, the interior is kind of small - however there's a decent selection of snacks to fill your cravings, especially plenty of candies and chips. However, most of the cold deli items seemed to be out of stock. They also have a fried chicken spot inside. It's normally not as busy as the Circle K's, but it can be hit or miss especially on the weekends around later afternoon when people are heading back. I will note though this gas station is a bit smaller and I recall seeing only 3 stalls of pumps- which can make it harder to get it in an out when it's busy. This gas station also has a store/fast food stop (that serves chicken). There is accessible parking and ramps to the store entrance. Very happy to change my review and happy to do my laundry here. New staff won't be touching my clothing unless left overnight (that's more than reasonable!) Half the machines are broken. The ones that work, don't work good. Attendant pulled out our family's clothing, including my wife and little girls clothes. Instead of apologizing he had an attitude with me, been going here a month and never had that happen before must be a new guy. NEVER in my life have I ever had an attendant, AT ANY LAUNDORMAT ever touch my clothes before. I especially don't appreciate him touching my wife's delicates. I've left clothes overnight at other laundromats and they've not been touched. Not only did he decide to handle my laundry, he also mixed it with someone else's. Will never be coming here again. I left for a little over an hour. Dryer cycle was 40 minutes. Ridiculous. Snowflake has several much better laundromats. There was an employee on the 76 gas station side that not only went out of her way to help me, but was so pleasant, and cheerful. She is very pleasant and always smiling. A good and hard worker. Go next door to get change to wash and dry your laundry. Has bathrooms, they have good amount of machines for very good price. One downer is that half the machines are out of order, for coins you have to go next door (gas station). Donna A.2258 days agoThis place is awesome. They actually have fresh made Louisiana fried chicken, nice and crispy and very juicy, it's Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I also ordered mac & cheese and I just had to try the fried shrimp, wow!!!!! What a great find. I will definitely be back real soon. Annie N.2271 days agoThe store was recently rebranded to Chevron and the remodel looks great!! The inside is super organized and clean, bathrooms are totally spotless. They also added brand new upgraded equipment in the laundromat and it looks excellent. They offer great prices and the staff is always helpful and friendly. There is a man in front of me at the Payson Marketplace who was purchasing a bottle of vodka. On that bottle of vodka it said non-GMO. I made a joke about it and the gentleman made a joke and it also said gluten-free. We were laughing. He walked away and a very lovely dark-haired probably 20 year old cashier proceeded to preach to me about people having health issues and what they can and can't eat. So explain to her that if you know how vodka is processed it was just funny because there was no need for those labels other than a sales tactic. She proceeded to continue to preach to me about people who have gluten allergies. I asked her to stop and she finished bringing me up and then told me that she hopes my day gets better. I then said my day has been fine. And she says well, your attitude is terrible. There is absolutely no reason for this discourse to even have happened. Since I am planning to move to Payson, I will not frequent the Payson Marketplace again as they obviously do not train their cashiers on customer service.Posted on Yelp
Vladmir T.2654 days agoBest Diesel Fuel Prices! Store isn't super well maintained... So I come here for diesel fuel since they usually have the lowest prices around. I am not one who really does any other business at gas stations anyway... I get the fuel and get on my way. The store itself I have not spent much time in and looks like it's time for a remodel.
